Our Quick Devotion this morning comes from 2 Chronicles 20:11-13 NKJV
Summary: King Jehoshaphat calls upon the Lord for a deliverance.
11 here they are, rewarding us by coming to throw us out of Your possession which You have given us to inherit.
12 O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”
13 Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the Lord.
Questions to ponder:
1. Where has God shown himself strong in our lives in the past? Let’s give him praise and honor and believe Him to do it again.
2. In what areas do you need God to show up and provide wisdom or a deliverance in your life?
3. Are you willing to be still and seek the Lord and wait upon him while at the same time being ready to diligently act upon what He shows you to do?
Other verses:
Psalm 46:10 NIV
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
